SCA Barista Skills Courses at QCS: April 25th - 27th, 2025!

With SCA Barista Skills Courses, you can learn both at the Foundations and Intermediate levels, right here at Quality Coffee Systems!

In partnership with Timberline Coffee School, we welcome you to our showroom for barista skills courses, whether you're a professional in the industry or an at-home coffee enthusiast. The SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) creates a global standard of quality amongst coffee professionals, and that high-level skillset can be brought right to your hands through these engaging courses.

A hands-on experience, both levels of Barista Skills courses will make sure that you apply the knowledge that you learn. Get a better look at which levels of skills you can learn through each course:

SCA Barista Skills Foundations

In the Foundations class, participants can expect to learn techniques in espresso extraction, milk texturing, grinder calibration, workflow efficiency, and basic sensory skills. This course is where you will be introduced and familiarized with the core fundamentals of being a barista.

When: April 25th, 2025, 9 AM - 5 PM

SCA Barista Skills Intermediate

At the Intermediate level, participants will have some knowledge and experience in the barista realm. Here, you will dig further into your skillset, going beyond the basics. While already knowing how to dial in an espresso, you can now do it with more confidence and accuracy. Build on the foundations of barista skills while also being able to identify and remedy any inconsistencies as you go along.

When: April 26th-27th, 2025, 9 AM - 5 PM
