With the brand being updated, it can be difficult to keep up with all of the new Profitec espresso machines and what each of them does. While the numbered models of the Profitec line have been a fixture of the QCS brand for a while, the new arrivals of the Profitec GO - Brushed Stainless, JUMP, RIDE, and DRIVE have made a splash at QCS. As a result, we are here to explain to you the main components of these machines and what makes them different from each other.
Profitec GO

The newer Brushed Stainless colour of this popular Profitec machine is known for its ease of use and ability to "GO," featuring a short heating time that ranges from 5-7 minutes.
Its three prominent buttons make it stand out from the rest of the lineup, with coloured indicator lights that correspond to each button. The buttons provide seamless accessibility to the ON/OFF modes, espresso extraction, and steam.
The Profitec GO is a single boiler machine with boiler insulation. Thanks to the expansion valve, the brewing pressure of the GO can be adjusted, ensuring your coffee is made how it's supposed to be.
While different coloured discs are available to customize the Pro 400, the GO takes it to the next level and includes machines of varying colours aside from the Brushed Stainless. From Black to more vibrant colours such as Blue, Yellow, and Red, the Profitec GO allows you to have a machine that fits you and your style.
Weight: 12.9 kg
Dimensions (WxDxH): 210 x 362 x 381 mm without portafilter, 210 x 410 x 381 mm with filter holder
Profitec JUMP

A machine that's compact yet powerful, the Profitec JUMP allows you to create barista-quality coffee while maintaining a small footprint and keeping the noise low.
With both a display and a dual gauge, the Profitec JUMP makes sure to inform you of the goings-on of the machine. The dual gauge lets you know what the boiler and pump pressure at all times, while the discreet display shows you information for the following:
- Your three preset temperatures
- Status of preinfusion mode
- Status of ECO mode
- Duration of espresso extraction (shot counter)
- Empty water tank
Underneath the machine is a switch that allows you to adjust the first three items (preset temperatures, preinfusion, and ECO mode), a feature that caters to your needs.
The Profitec JUMP is crafted carefully, with elements of stainless steel and American walnut, the latter seen on the handles of the machine. All of the materials tie together to create a rustic yet polished look, perfect for someone trying to elevate their counter with an at-home café appearance.
Weight: 21.5 kg
Dimensions (WxDxH): 228 x 448 x 372 mm without portafilter, 228 x 558 x 372 mm with portafilter
Profitec RIDE

The RIDE is a dual boiler that allows for a fast heat-up time due to the simultaneous heating of both the boiler for coffee and for steam.
Despite this, there is still leniency in the RIDE. It can still be used as a single boiler machine if chosen, and the temperatures of the boilers can be adjusted individually due to the machine's PID capabilities. In terms of programming, you can determine whether or not to operate the automatic ON/OFF switch, ECO mode, and more.
The settings of the machine will show on the display of the RIDE, so that you can stay aware of every setting. You also get notified when there is maintenance needed to keep the RIDE going, such as a filter change or a clean for the brew group.
Weight: 28 kg
Dimensions (WxDxH): 300 x 450 x 370 mm without portafilter, 300 x 560 x 370 mm with portafilter
Profitec DRIVE

The DRIVE is also a dual boiler machine that includes a rotary pump and flow control, as well as PID capabilities.
Flow control enables you to take a hold over the water flow, even during brewing. The DRIVE ensures that the power is in your hands in multiple regards. Other customization aspects include automatic ON/OFF modes, ECO mode, active and passive preinfusion, and fast heat-up mode.
In terms of the boilers, you have the choice of either using the steam boiler or not, and you can also switch to a fixed water connection rather than using the water tank in the machine.
The Profitec DRIVE includes an OLED display that keeps you informed on what is going on inside of the machine, while staying discreet enough that it is a subtle addition to the classy machine.
Weight: 31 kg
Dimensions (WxDxH): 340 x 485 x 420 mm without portafilter, 340 x 590 x 420 mm with portafilter
These four newer Profitec espresso machines each have their own capabilities and will be suitable for different users depending on their needs.
