At the start of May, JURA released the new JURA S8 with revamped features, making it an entirely new machine. Once discontinued, the S8 has returned to the market and we are incredibly excited to have it with us and to share it with our customers.
How is the new JURA S8 different from the old S8?
Swipe functionality
The 4.3" touchscreen of the JURA S8 has carried over from its last iteration, but what makes this version of the S8 touchscreen so special is its ability to swipe from place to place. Look through the different menu items or go into the machine's settings with a simple swipe of the finger! This function makes the touchscreen somehow even more convenient to use.
Bigger menu, more specialties
Whereas the old S8 had 15 coffee specialties in its menu, this S8 has upgraded to a significantly larger collection of 27 different specialties! Most of what was on the last version of the S8 have stayed - espresso, cappuccino, flat white… but what's better is that there are more that have been added. With the new generation JURA S8, you can indulge in more drinks, which brings us into the next new feature.
Sweet foam function
For those who crave a sweeter drink here and there - JURA has come out with a syrup attachment compatible with the JURA S8! With this easy-to-use attachment, users can modify their favourite drinks with a touch of syrup. By using the syrup attachment with the milk system, you can have sweet versions of specialties such as lattes, espresso macchiatos, and cortados. The simple syrup attachment process, the smooth interface, and Sweet Foam Function are a match made in coffee heaven.
P.A.G.2 grinder
One of the most important parts of the coffee process is the grinding of the beans. JURA elevates the quality of the S8 by replacing the Aroma G3 grinder with the exceptional P.A.G.2 grinder. The name and concept for P.A.G., which stands for Professional Aroma Grinder, wasn't created out of thin air. It executes the grinding process skillfully every time, ensuring that every cup contains freshly and consistently brewed coffee.
With the dial at the rear top of the machine, grinds can be set to a finer or coarser consistency at the user's control. This elevated improvement on the S8 puts more direction in the user's hands.
