This electric grinder has a dial by which you can manually adjust the consistency of grind, easily accessible to the user on the side of the machine. The 64 mm burrs within the Moca SD work in tandem with a 300-watt DC motor to create a powerful and steady grind. It is capable of single dosing, and also grinds without retention, making sure that your coffee stays fresh and your cup is as flavourful as possible.
Steel all around
The burrs' material is a hardened special steel, a heavy-duty material for a durable machine. Continuing this theme, the body of the machine is constructed of stainless steel and the sides are also made of resistant powder coated steel. All of this to say that the Moca SD may be compact, but it is unmistakably a strong and sturdy grinder.
At the top, there is an aluminum hopper that stores your coffee beans for use, and also blends nicely with the rest of the machine. The different elements tie together to make the entire look work cohesively, the Olympia Moca SD - Red visually both a classic and modern machine.
