This popular Olympia Express machine, the Olympia Cremina (in the colour Anthracite), is a perfect mixture of stainless steel, chrome, and brass. A lever machine, the Cremina gets you in touch with your inner barista with the classic mechanism.

High-quality, inside and out

Made of high-quality materials, the stand-out pieces of the Cremina, including the group head, portafilter, steam wand, and steam nozzle, are all crafted from brass. To follow, they are chromed and polished, making sure that each piece shines. Going underneath the surface of the machine, a chrome steel electric boiler stores 3.8 pints of water, which can serve 20 cups of espresso.

The technology that goes into the inside of the machine, the parts that create the quality coffee, consist of a tubular heating element that has thermal protection. This feature allows for shielding against the boiler overheating.

Both the materials that the machine is made up of, including the layers of chrome and polish, and  the details such as thermal protection help to preserve the longevity of the machine. Classic lever style

The Cremina, with its lever and piston system, not only cultivates the skills of an at-home barista, but also allows you to have control. The pre-infusion piston system works by first letting some water into the piston chamber and into the pressed coffee grounds when the lever is lifted. As the lever is pressed down, the hot water is pushed through the grounds, and the coffee is extracted.

For the Cremina, the default pressure sits between 0.7 to 0.8 bars, with the temperature at 198°F. To give you the utmost control over the coffee, the user uses their skills to lower the lever when needed, finding the nine bar pressure.
