Within these four springs are a horizontal spring that prevents tilting, an impact spring for consistent pressure, a positioning spring for seamless operation, and a return spring for rebounding after use.
Different elements of this MHW-3BOMBER YU-Series Tamper ensure a good-quality espresso, such as the compact and smooth nature of the puck once the tamper reaches a preset amount of pressure.
The automatic rebound of the tamper and the accommodation to several different heights helps to make the tamping experience much more comfortable, especially with repeated use. When using, there is a quick sound that emits from the tamper to notify you of the process' completion. This makes it easier to navigate due to audible cues.
