We’re glad to share the highlights of our event with you and hope you’ll take the time to stop by if ever you’re in the area.

A Perfect Day for a Celebration

We were lucky with the weather as we enjoyed clear skies and sun. Furthermore, our great setup and amazing guests made the day better than we could have asked for. We started our day with espresso, specialty coffee, and other refreshments courtesy of Jura’s espresso machines. Once everyone was a bit caffeinated and well fed, our CEO, Roger Knecht delivered the opening speech that began with an acknowledgment of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh speaking people of the area. After our introductions were complete, we enjoyed some interesting discussions between leaders in the industry.

Sharing Valuable Industry Insights

In a stimulating panel discussion hosted by Canadian sales manager Chris Papastathopoulos, all participants gained lots of insight into Jura’s global strategy, new innovations, brand awareness, and the future of the super-automatic espresso machine. Experts like Jura CEO, Emmanuel Probst and FAEMA director of marketing, Lorenzo DiDonato offered plenty of valuable information on these topics. In addition, Swiss-Canadian chamber of commerce chairman Fabian Lemann highlighted the great relationship between Canada and Switzerland as an homage to the world-renowned Swiss engineering underpinning iconic espresso machine brands like Jura.

New Goodies From Jura!

Apart from the delicious dinner cruise, we enjoyed at the end of the night, the North American premiere of the Jura E8 and Z10 was the most exciting part of our event. We all enjoyed advertisement clips from Jura ambassador and superstar Roger Feder to introduce the exciting new features we can expect to see in Jura’s innovative new creations. With that, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony began, led by Elder Eugene Harry, Minister of Shaker Church in Squamish Nation.

What better way to celebrate such a monumental event than food and drinks with friends – on a cruise?! Before the end of the night, many guests took the opportunity to enjoy one last espresso made with one of Jura’s state-of-the-art machines. Celebrate the opening of Jura’s new hospitality center by paying it a visit!
