Starting in the water tank, the JURA CLARIS Water Filter - Blue uses only organic materials to clean out every part of the machine where water flows. It uses the up-flow principle in only taking the water necessary to make the drink. With its ion exchangers and activated charcoal, it effectively eliminates any heavy metals, chlorine, and calcium carbonate (that settles as limescale) that may be intrusive to the quality and taste of the coffee.
